You will need just a packet of cigarettes and paperclip. The trick is in hiding the paperclip inside the cigarette! Simply straighten the paperclip and slide it down your cigarette. Make sure it slightly digs into the filter to give it some stability.

Before the 1950's, cigarettes did not have filters. They were the roll-your-own kind of cigarettes and the effects of smoking weren't as well known as they are today. It was a very 'cool' thing to smoke, and lots of people did it.

However, when reports came out that cigarettes might be linked to lung cancer, the tobacco companies had to do some damage control. Their idea was to make filters to place on the end of pre-made cigarettes.

The buzz was that the filters would take most of the tar out of the cigarettes. The tar is the thick brown residue in cigarette smoke, and is what makes smoking so dangerous.

Famous producer, more than 2 years ago shot a representative film for one reliable company, he proposed also to make photos.
At this moment, work with photo camera begins to capture him more and more.

When he shot the movie "Sword-bearer" he made a whole photo works series. One evening, he stayed in the kitchen he pored into ashtray whisky and set it on fire.

He was very amazed with this fire and he made several shots. And on the computer screen he unexpectedly saw evident line of dancing personage and he started to burn everything.

Over many frames he found the one that caused the greatest effect and after small correction of lots of flame petals - his pictures were completed.

Smoke, cigarette smoke cloaked everybody: drunk and alluring it slides on everybody who was in the room. It cloaked, flattered and excited. Smoke of Marlboro cigarettes. The windows were curtained with heavy and long curtains and the semidarkness made this situation more relaxed.

The setup is quite simple: the smoke comes from incense sticks (made in India), they are cheap and produce a constant smoke for a long period of time (and also a pleasant scent). The light source is a flashgun from side and behind.

You need a black material for the background and something to shade the direct light from the flash to the lens. Plus some patience and some trials.

My morning. Dream about cigarettes smoke
